you can get them form alot of places.
like radioshack, stewmac.com etc

but you shouldn't just buy any wire. look for a specific gauge based on what electronics you will be putting in your guitar mate. like high impedance vs low impedance
also if you can buy sheilded wire. it'll cut down on excess noise.

^Shielded wire, yes. Impedance in that kind of length is negligible.
