so i went to my local guitar shop today and as i was leaving i noticed this body behind the counter and asked to look at it. i dont know what brand of guitar it came from or what wood it's made out of. its a bit worse for wear and will take some serious TLC to bring this thing back if its even possible. my biggest concern was and still is at the neck joint where its messing a pretty hefty chunk of wood. any ideas on how i could go about fixing it?

here is the body

here is my big problem with this
