Specifically their "Heavy weight guitar boomers"? They're 10-60's. What be best to put them in? I've done drop C most comfortably with my current strings, which might be 10's, as well, I cant remember.

Side question: What gauge would be best for C-standard tuning?

Edit: My C-1 has a 25.5" scale.

Would I have to do any truss rod adjustments? I put 12's on my acoustic for D standard and drop C, and I didn't have to adjust the truss rod.

C-standard? Probably 12-54 or 13-56.

I'd say skinny top/heavy bottoms, or 12's

Would I be ok with the 10-60's I have now?

If it works for you, then yeah, you're fine. If its not working for you, try a heavier gauge.

I love GHS strings. Its the only strings I use

Try them yourself. No one can tell you if they're good or not; that's purely subjective. I don't like them, I pretty much swear by D'Addario 11's. Every person will like something different, and you can only find "your string" by trying as many different kinds as possible.

I'm not really asking if they're good or not, just what they'd be best set up in. But yeah, I guess I would have to try them out myself to see what they are best set up in.

Well, that's also subjective. I honestly don't think that 60's are good for anything - Those are just way too big for a guitar. That's my opinion.

But yeah, if they interest you (obviously they have) then I encourage you to try them out. Can't hurt, and it will help you decide if you like heavy strings or not.

I used to use them for a metalcore band I was in and was playing in Drop Bb. Anything above Drop C I couldn't really even do, but I could go all the way down to around Ab before I got any buzz.
