Hello All,

I currently own a General Guitar Gadgets PT-80 delay pedal, which I put together quite a while ago. Lately, I've decided to make the LED have tempo indication, and quickly found a circuit that takes the clock output and divides it into the tempo, available here.
What I'm wondering is if I decide to incorporate tap tempo capabilities in the future, would this LED indicator still work with the tap tempo?
Also, would it be better if I tied the ground wire on the left end of the LED board to the 3PDT switch, so that the board would only be powered when the effect is enabled, or would the LED automatically be off when the effect is bypassed?
Lastly, am I correct in assuming that the red squares are areas where the copper was scraped off, to disconnect things on the same line?

Thank you,

Vitamin A
