Ok so my Jay Turser 300 came with this tremolo arm.. i screwed it in like it goes in the hole but doesn't work at all.. what am I doing wrong? :/

Well I'm not entirely sure what you mean and couldn't see the pic you uploaded but just to be clear, to use the tremolo arm you don't turn it. You screw it into place and then you push it down and pull it up to decrease and increase the pitch of the note/chord you're playing.

mind sound stupid but take the trem cover off the back of guitar and see if there is any wood blocking the trem, this might be the case if you got it second hand
