I have a morris tornado GXD 1971 Accoustic/Electric guitar
It has mother pearl fret spots, real wood, ivory work around the frets and a fiberglass back
I have looked all over the internet and cant find nothing on it, i got given the guitar as a present from a old friend i was just looking for information i.e history and value any help would be great

Asfar as i beleive it belonged to the Malaysian King.

Thanks.

Your patience is certainly to be admired. But with that said, you have access to the same search engines as I do.

At first glance, I would call the guitar, "a lawsuit Ovation copy". It is, (I am guessing), from approximately that time period.

So, here are some links from my search: http://morris-guitars.com/about-morris/

As to the king playing one, I would have gone for a more expansive send up like, "one of these guitars was presented to Pheidippides when he finally reached the Plain of Marathon.

Keep in mind the 2nd search result from Google, led back to this thread....
