Just some riffs I put together for a pseudo song for my band. Everytime we play this song live I feel like people just find it plain boring as I see no movement. What do you guys think of this? Dont hesitate to be blatantly honest.

Thanks guys. C4C for sure.

I can see that the riffs are really technical. Maybe it's just me, but there are some minor timing slip ups here and there, not too noticible though, it'd probably sound cleaner played to a click track. I'm a little high, so yeah it might be me lol. Very Nile-ish, it also has that Sumerian feel without the breakdowns i.e. Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris. Definitely interested in hearing these riffs recorded.

Check out mine when you get the chance.

Ya the riffs are lets put it not so easy to play so I definitely agree that there are some timing slips. I am from an eastern country so I try to bring lot of eastern feels to songs and fail and sometime pass doing that. I am listening to your songs right now. Damn you got some skills with recording man and ofcourse guitar. It feels like to me that Empty Inside has some viking metal tonality or that might just be me. My favorite has to the "New Song (Demo)." Its got that classic taste of old school metal you know. None of the new age pseudometal bullshit with pantera like breakdowns if you will. Definitely digging it. Thumbs up, mate.

Man it sounds pretty sweet! Nice and riffy! I'd love to hear your band playing this.
Prehaps people dont seem to be digging it cos the band all together might not sound so tight. Just keep practising it in your band, it should sound pretty sweet, but you'd all need to be really tight together because this type of music can sound pretty messy if people arent in time and stuff.
I love your beard!
I agree with what the other guy said about playing to a click track, it would sound a little more together if you did that. Pretty good composition though. I think my favourite riff is between 20 seconds to 40 seconds in the video.
Keep rockin =]

If you take a jar, and whisper what you want to hate into it, then close the jar, coat it in crunchy peanut butter, and shove it up your ass. I'm pretty sure you could hate everything after that.
