Some guy is offering me his PRS custom 24 with case, mint condition (only been played about an hour), purchased in 2001, for 1575 bucks?

Does this sound legit?

The price is good, but the fact that a guitar purchased in 2001 has been played for no longer than an hour makes me think a little

Ok, its about on par with ebay prices but I don't want to deal with the whole bidding/money transfer/trust issues

I hate when people say 'never been played...' That's such bullshit. Its a guitar, its been played, and it doesn't affect the quality all that much anyway.

I would be more worried if it only been played a hour since 2001
If its been played regularly, you know it should of had decent care
But if it has been sitting there for 9 years, could be some problems

Still, it's a high end guitar for a good price. It's damn hard to put any guitar out of commission entirely, let alone a PRS.

Not to be a whistle-blower or anything, but this is kind of in the wrong forum...
