A x B = 15

Someone is trying to conduct a scientific survey in the pit. I'm confused
#3
I put a bigger number in front of a smaller number to make my imaginary penis size.
#4
I want to vote for 3.872983346
#5
3*5 for me.
#6
Bigger numbers first. It's just way easier. I voted without looking at the rest of the post, too.
#7
Smaller comes first, anything else is blasphemy.
#8
no -3 x -5?
#9
ima fan of the bigger number first.
#10
what about 2.5*6? decimals before all else
#11
Looking at it written out, I prefer 3x5, but when assigning values to the variables I prefer to make A the larger variable. So I voted 5x3.
#12
I always do the smaller number first as it seems logical with multiplication. For instance you 4x2 isn't 4 2s, it's double 4, so 2x4 instead. Or 4x3 is triple 4; 3x4 and 3x2 would be double 3; 2x3. By my logic AxB=15 would be triple 5, 3856x2667 would be 2667x3856 in larger numbers for instance.

Not really my thing, I hate maths and science. I like languages.

...But they're the same!
The Axioms for the Real Numbers tell us that for real numbers, multiplication is commutative.

I voted 5*3, but in order to anser for A & B, you'd need another equation.
#20
Well, being the nerd that I am I went AxB=15 then A=15/B
But definantly bigger first, no idea why just seems right.

just no more three by fives...
#22
I voted 3x5 since I like the way it looks written down, but really, my thought process and when speaking I usually put the bigger number first, since it seems more sensible to multiple five three times than three five times. there's just less work.
#23
Definitely smaller first. It's always easier in my head to do 3 of something than 5 of it.
#24
Who the hell cares? It gives exactly the same answer.
#25
And 5 x 3
#26
Bigger number first, because it's simpler to triple a five, than quintuple a three.
#27
3x5, just because I like when things end in 5 or 0.
#28
I tend to put larger numbers first if the number on the right is larger than the other ones. otherwise, for instance in 0.5 x 4 = 2, I put the smaller number first.
#29

Exactly my thought. We aren't talking about linear algebra here.
#30
no -3 x -5?
i was thinking the same thing

Well you and Neo Evil can go kick rocks.

3*5
In simple maths, like that, I don't care about the order as much, so I voted for 3*5.
If one of the numbers was a decimal place larger, as in 12*7, then it would be the larger number first. Otherwise, if the numbers are the same length, then I just write them as I see them.

Well, you can go rock kicks!

I prefer bigger numbers in front of smaller, but I voted 3 x 5 because I saw the message not to scroll down and I thought I'd be different.

Neo, we're clearly not wanted here. We'll form a mathematical double act.
If you're the Brain, does that make me Pinky? o.0

Btw. why do you want to know this? Is this something psychological?? Or are you just waisting the pits' time?
^no it means you are some other smart character. Maybe Dexter. Your call.

this

voted 3x5. because when i learned multiplying (?) i started from 1 to 9 and then more, making it more easy (for me at least)

It seems like everyone is saying the same thing, but are interpreting the equation in different ways.
3x5, to me, says "three fives"
Whereas a lot of people are saying
5x3 is like "five, three times"
