Hi guys, I just finished recording this a couple days ago.

I am looking for some feedback, any comments on the mix would be especially helpful as I'm still struggling quite a bit with that aspect.

The song is called Forcefield in my profile.

C4C as always, thanks to any who listen

Mmmm the mix sounds good to my ears at the beginning, although the rhythm felt like they could have more body to em - and the vocals at times feel like they just jump at you a bit too much - but so far impressive if you ask me. I think the rhythms could be better served with either a little more drive, or even less, but push the mids if so. lead sounds great - excellent playing and writing all-around if you ask me. I'm surprised no1 else has jumped to crit this song yet X_X

bass drum programming COULD be a bit more interesting as they are now they don't really assist the song imo.

Just my two cents C4C? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1222811

Its interesting that you think the vocals jump out too much, to me it sounds like they fade too much into the background. I suppose listening to this through different speakers would be a good way to gain a new perspective.
I hear you on the bass drum thing too. thanks for your words, I'll check out yours now
