So, as a result of the fact that I saw Toy Story 3 today, I got to wondering what the best Pixar Movie was. So I asked my older sister, and she said The Incredibles was obviously the best. My little sister likes Toy Story 2. My dad liked WALL-E and my Mom liked Monsters Inc. I myself firmly believe that Up was the best Pixar movie, as well as probably one of the best animated movies ever.

I was wondering what the Pits favorite Pixar movie is. So what is it?

(oh and since I can only post 10 things in a poll, I have to leave off one movie. But instead I just put all the Toy Story movies together. Specify which one you like the best in your post if you choose that one)

Original Toy Story, straight up.

Well I mean, it started it all sure. But everything just got better after that imo.

The only one I haven't seen was Ratatouille. I smelled one of their promotional scratch-and-sniff bookmarks and it was "rotten cheese". Killed the mood

The chess animation is the best, unfortunately I can't find the full version on Youtube

I was gonna say "Toy Story (the original) for sure," but then I realized Up was Pixar too, and it was amazing.

Monster's Inc. and A Bug's Life were pretty sick too, but Toy Story and Up were simply amazing.

Although I'm gonna have to go with Toy Story, as it was simply classic. Up was definitely more emotionally powerful though.

No matter how many times I see Up, I still tear up at the beginning and during a scene towards the end. As much as I love all of them, no other Pixar movie has given me that kind of emotional response to them.

Second favorite is Wall-E. Third is Toy Story.
#17
The Toy Story series is my favorite, although I can't remember the first 2 well enough to say which is the best. I saw #3 today though and it definitely lived up to all the hype.

I'm probably gonna go see Toy Story 3 on Sunday. Pixar hasn't disappointed so far; I doubt they'll disappoint now.
I don't really want to see it simply because there's no way it can be as good as the first, thus I feel that I will be disappointed. I guess I'm just a cynical bastard.

Wall-E was my favorite animated movie ever. It was so adult, while being cute. The first 15 minutes was simply breathtaking. It almost made me tear up at the end. It also seriously dissed the big companies (Wal-mart, etc...), who i HATE. I think it may be one of the best movies ever,

It may not be the best, but it was really good. I was really glad it was a good movie because it would have been so easy for it to be a cash-in and nothing more. It's worth seeing.

^^ Yeah, except the fourth one. It just wasnt as good

It's cruel to make us choose, TS.

They are all so good... I think the Incredibles and Monsters Inc are my favourites. How the hell are they so consistently amazing? They must have the Google approach to attracting and keeping the best staff possible.
...In my opinion.

A Bugs Life is my personal favorite.

then the Toy Stories, then WALL-E, then Finding Nemo then Monsters Inc then the rest.
I dont really get whats so great about Up.

For me, Wall-E, followed closely by Toy Story 1 and 2 (haven't seen the third yet). Up comes in a close third - I thought it was absolutely brilliant up until the climactic sequence, when it fell to merely being great.

The first one had something that they weren't able to replicate in the second movie. Not saying I didn't like number 2, I just think the first one was on a whole other level. Number 3 was... just... so bad...

I will see number 4, but I know it will be horrible.

In regards to the Shrek discussion, here's my opinion:

The first was amazing, the second was meh, and the third one was awful. I can only imagine what the fourth is like.
