A few weeks(months?) ago I read a thread about making a molded case out of plywood and foam. My dad suggested masonite(flakeboard) instead of plywood because it costs less, is stronger, and would weigh a lot less. Does UG have any ideas? Suggestions? Oppostitions? Tell me what you think!
I would use 3/4 inch ply, and then a layer of masonite. I don't think masonite by itself is strong enough.
