I really like the tension of 12s on a Gibson scale neck in standard tuning but would like to play with tension like that in C. What should I use to get tension like that? I'm aware I'm going to be using some baritone guitar strings but what exactly should I use?

Edit - Tension, Not feel.
Always tin your strings.

13's should be pretty close. I went from 10's to 12's the same way ur looking to do, and the 12's in c were just a little to heavy for what I wanted.

I sure will. Rock Lobster tuning, here I come. (It would seem Ricky used Baritone strings for that song as not even a .52 Low E sounds right, He didn't have a baritone guitar so maybe he used bass strings...? IDK I'm just trying to figure out a string gauge close to what he used)
