I have looked up wiring schemes for this style wiring, but have not found any. I basically have a bass that has 2 MM pro humbuckers, and I want independant volume and tone controls without a 3 way switch. What would be the best way to do this?
A two-way switch? You could also use a blend knob or just wire the two pots in parallel directly. It depends on what you're trying to achieve.

I don't want a switch, just knobs, like a j bass. but each pup w/independant tone
I'm not sure if you can do dual tone in that arrangement. I've never used a blend pot before but I'm pretty sure it combines the signals in parallel, in which case the tone controls would both always be in the circuit affecting both pickups. Don't take my word for it, though, ask someone who knows for sure lol Good luck.
ok, thanks. I'll figure it out.
Wait, do all J basses not have blends? I got confused because I'm not a bassist I suppose. Either way if it's two volumes in parallel it won't be independent tone controls. Play a Les Paul in the combined position and you'll see what I mean.
I just want to omit the toggle, but have a lp wiring scheme kind of.
What I'm saying is it's impossible to have dual tone controls in that arrangement. One tone control will affect both pickups, so having two is pointless.
