I have an Ibanez Xpt700 and it's a wonderful guitar. Feels like a much more expensive guitar - I've compared it to my friend's ESP Horizon-II FR and I like the Xpt more. Also, it's capable of absolutely wonderful clean tones, too, and for metal / rock it's fantastic. U should check it out if the body shape doesn't put you off.
Gear:

Guitars: Ibanez SV5470F, Ibanez Xpt700, Fender MIM Standard Stratocaster ('04-'05), Jackson Ps-2
Ashton AG200,
Amps: ENGL E530, Bugera 6262-212,
FX: TC Electronics G-major 2, Behringer EQ700, Morley Volume / Wah

what u think about it ?
is it worth this money ?

that actually sounds like a pretty good deal. I'd see about swapping the 81 in the neck with either a 60 or 85 though. (personally i prefer an 85 in the bridge too)

You should check out the MIM Strat. It's pretty damn good value for money, and it can pull off a lot of styles. Some other models you might like to try:
Ibanez RG420
ESP LTD MH-100
Ibanez S420/S570
Yamaha RGX A2
ESP LTD ST-203
Jackson DXMG Dinky
PRS SE Custom
Ibanez SAS36
ESP LTD JH-200DC
Godin Redline 2
Washburn X50 PRO
ESP LTD H-251

And in other news, @The^Unforgiven: The Xpt700 is, imho, NOT a good looking guitar... I could never own one. And, I gotta say, there's no way you could like it more than the ESP Horizon... I remember drooling over one a few years ago, and now that I own one, I can say that they are very, very good guitars. Admittedly, I've never played the Xpt700 but even so... But that's beside the point.
Marshall amplifiers are the truest purveyors of rock and roll known to man.

"And give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer, and he doesn't become whoever, you know. He doesn't become us."

Holy crap, check this out!

The Raw Power series aren't overpriced at all, they're worth every penny. Mine was stolen a short while ago, and I'm still really pissed off because it was a fantastic guitar.

Ibanez K5
Warwick Rockbass Vampyre 4

Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live
Epiphone Les Paul Custom

U could maybe go second hand with the Xpt?

Also, a friend of mine has the M-300, and I think it's incredibly good, especially for the price.
