I am trying to figure out the neutral milk hotel rig. I kind of sound a distortion pedal like a big muff maybe, yet I have heard they don't use pedals, although they may be lying. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks

I'm listening to them now, and you're right. It does sound somewhat like a Big Muff-ish thing. But it could jsut be passed off as a shitty amp.

The resonant frequency of the clitoris is too low for the guitar players to take care of.

I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe you should just go ask Mr. Magnum yourself.
