I want to buy a new car. In order to do so I would have to secure a loan - about $7000.

My issues:
I have no Credit.
I have no one willing to co-sign for me.

Now I imagine the chances of my walking in a getting a loan is fairly slim, right? But, I've also heard that banks will often give auto loans to people with bad/no credit since it's fairly easy for them to just repo your car, is that true? I imagine I would have a much better shot at getting a loan if I could put a sizable chunk of money down - roughly how much would I have to put down to make that happen?

Thanks for the help.
Buy a motorized skateboard instead.

That what I drive now - a old beat up Honada Accord.
There are some dealers that specialize in helping people with no/bad credit, thats how I got my first one. Look around and try to find one.
