So I've decided to paint my Squier P's pickguard.
What I didn't count on was having to wait 7 days until the Krylon Fusion spraypaint cures completely.
So my one and only bass is lying around without a PG.
I then decided to make a ghetto-licious panel out of cereal box-card, so I can plug it in and use the controls while it's naked.

Thing is, it's got me thinking about making a Jazz-style pickguard scheme for this bass. If I get a small sheet of steel/aluminum, I may just go for it on my next P-style bass.

Nice! You should put the Corn Flakes logo toward the outside. Much more colorful.
