It looks like its... extended or something. Thats a big chord to arpeggiate.

Yeah, they're extended from the usual arpeggios you see. He extends it further and tells you what chord each one is based from.

I wouldn't say "extended" in the sense that he adds notes to them. He just repeats some notes in different octaves.
