It Took 6 hours of Taping and Painting.
I Put Black Then A Very Metallic Silver then A Pearl Green.
I Used Expensive Car Paints.
And if you didnt notice I replaced the H with an M as in Martin My Name.

By The Way. Im Doing Similar Paint Jobs For a Fair Price With Professional Luthier Equipment In Miami Florida. PM If Interested.

My bad, I meant a P-90. o-o Which would be one of these things:

A PAF is a Patent Applied For pickup, they were used in early Gibsons, most notably (but not only) in the 1959 Les Paul's.

Sounds good, what EMGs are you using?

Yea i am gonna route it. any tips on that though?

Im Thinking Of Just Taking it To a Sam Ash To Route it. i Dont Wanna Ruin the Body Or Paint.

i dont have a lot of experience with building guitars but shouldnt you have routed it BEFORE painting it? that just makes sense to me, i dont know if im right but it just kinda makes sense. that way you wouldnt ruin the paint.

Yea i know i should've but. im getting that routed part Black Satin. Eh. my Floyd Rose was ordered on monday and my first idea was to flat mount. but i changed my mind about it. my floyd rose was coming like wednesday Next week.
i didnt route it cuz i was following a guide that had not been routed yet. so i didnt wanna mess it up.

I don't quite follow the above post. The body is painted before the paintworks.

The "Paintworks" is done while being painted.... Black Coat . Tape. Silver Coat. Remove tape. Retape. then Green Coat...

man that thing really does look killer... i might have to make a blue version of this awesome green EVH-ish strat i ***king love it.

sorry i can't help with the floyd routing, but i think personally i would flat mount it. would just be so much easier. if you decide to route later it would be a serious pain, but i think i'd flat mount just for the convenience of it. sorry i can't really give any tips on that though

EDIT: and i didn't see if you said, but for the neck... since it doesn't have a locking nut some companies made what was basically a locking nut to go behind the current nut. it'll still use that nut for string spacing and intonation purposes, but the other "locking nut" gets drilled in behind it and would clamp the strings down so you won't have to worry about routing that thing for a floyd nut.

^ just realized how hard that is to follow. i ramble sometimes. anyway i'll try to find a link / picture to one unless you already know what i mean

That is amazing, man. The only bothersome thing is that that's not a maple fretboard, and you are going to put EMGs in it, but that's just if I was gonna play it. Excellent job, man.

I LOVE that green frankenstrat!

wish i had the possibility to make something like that xD

good job and good luck on completing it!

Heh thanks. but im not trying to make a EVH Replica. im making my own.
That Green/Silver/Black Color Scheme was my choice of colors so since the black has a Flat finish i decided WHy Not Put EMG's? They Sound Awesome.
I Personally think maple with that color looks weird i didnt like it. And i like the rosewood fret board more. and if i ever do route it. im getting it done by a luthier.
hopefully that answered all your questions.
