All Killswitch Engage's material is Drop C. So is any Mudvayne from anything post LD-50. Disturbed's newer stuff is Drop C as well.

Just what comes to mind.

If you post your age and skill level, I can recomend several songs by:

Poison The Well
Thrice
System of A Down
GWAR

And a few others.
Drop C is fun
#8
As I Lay Dying is a great example, especially:

Losing Sight
94 Hours

They have easy, cool sounding stuff and more complicated, even cooler sounding parts

They used D standard on Subterranian and Lunar Strain but you're right that they haven't used Drop C.

Just for the record, it doesn't HAVE to be C, just drop tuned. Even then, it doesn't if your crafty with your head.

It will just be in a different key is all. Ever listen to The Doors play in Bb?

Not quite, the tunings on St. Anger are all over the place:

Frantic, St. Anger, My World, Shoot Me Again, Some Kind of Monster, Purify, All Within My Hands - Drop C
Dirty Window, Sweet Amber - Drop Db
The Unnamed Feeling - Drop Bb on 6-string.
Invisible Kid - Drop Ab on baritone 6-string

I would also contend that lots of these songs really are not amazing but that's a whole seperate thread

CGCFAD is my favorite tuning too

Songs by A Day To Remember, 3 Days Grace, some of Papa Roach's stuff (Getting Away With Murder era), Killswitch (HolyDiver is a personal favorite to play) and so on.

For what it's worth, a song originally written in Drop D or Drop C# or really drop anything can be played in Drop C too, allbeit with a little bit different sound. I play lots of drop D songs in drop C because I dig the tone. As long as my bass player downtunes to the same thing (CGCF) and the singer can adapt it works just fine. The only thing you can't really do is play along with the CD.
