I'm wondering what's the effect used for bass during when the bass enters in on the verse. Please tell me, I'd greatly appreciate the help. It would sound incredibly awesome to use for my bass lines.

Effect? Takes a lot more than effects to define tone. Try cranking up the low end on the EQ and play hard. Most of that sound is coming from technique.

yeah, the EQ is right up to isolate the bass...
Marshall amplifiers are the truest purveyors of rock and roll known to man.

"And give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer, and he doesn't become whoever, you know. He doesn't become us."

Holy crap, check this out!

Interesting, I shall experiment my bass amps some more tomorrow in my friend's garage.

As has been said, technique is how you will get that sound. There's a lot of low end boost there too.

Also, compress it into oblivion. That will bring out that sort of pick sound you can hear. If you do compress it though, leave some of the attack or it will loose the effect.
