Yo,

My pickup sticks out a little and its when i play around the 14th fret on my E string it hits my pickup.

So my question is cna i remove the foam underneath my neck pickup?

Just tighten the little screws up a bit, it should just squish the foam. I can't see any reason why it'd be problem to take the foam out if it's stopping the pick up getting any lower though.

Raise your action slightly, or just lower the pickup, it's only foam.

DO NOT REMOVE THAT FOAM!!!!!!!!
what will happen is your pick up will sink all the way into the routing and then your volume will suffer.

just tighten the screws to lower the pick up a bit
