i'm looking for recommendations on hardware to record voices /acoustic guitar at home for less than £100 with the best quality possible. obviously normal microphones are not PC compatible directly. and i've read that compressor microphones are usually better for recording. would a USB compressor microphone be a good solution, and if so which?
Ever wonder what rock would have sounded like in 2010 if grunge hadn't made it cool to be stupid?

Marshall amplifiers are the truest purveyors of rock and roll known to man.

"And give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer, and he doesn't become whoever, you know. He doesn't become us."

Holy crap, check this out!

a usb mic is all you'll get for that.

if you care much about how it will sound, i would suggest saving up some more money till you can afford a proper interface and a real condenser mic.

^There are plenty of mics under 100 pounds that are decent enough. However, he doesn't have an interface.
