Also, my usual answer regarding sad songs: Agalloch - A Desolation Song

White Wine in the Sun by Tim Minchin. I was checking his stuff out and thought 'great, another comedy song, let's have a listen!'

I can't really name one song that is the 'saddest song I've ever heard', but Radiohead-Exit Music is deliciously sad.

The Black Rainbow by Coheed and Cambria. It's the last song on the album and the last in the prequel, so it's the last song they released in the saga. Hearing Claudio scream "It's over, it's all coming apart" followed by the eerie cave noises made me sad because it feels like the end of an era

Sorry for the sudden outburst of blind intolerance...

But STOP F*CKING MENTIONING RADIOHEAD, what the hell? I'm getting sick of people worshiping this average band literally everywhere like it's the only one in History.

Yeah, I know. It's only my opinion. But DAMN, it's annoying.

umad

Radiohead don't ever get too crazy with being fast or technical, but they're far from "average."

OT:
Street Spirit (Fade Out)- Radiohead
Prelude in D-Flat Major Op.28-15- Chopin
Blue and Yellow- The Used (shut up, I know)
Disarm- Smashing Pumpkins

Tragically Hip - Fiddler's Green (Stereophonics also did an excellent cover)

It's about the singer's 5-year old nephew who died, i'd say that's pretty sad
