As the title says, do you think that new headphones with a 1/4inch jack would reduce some of that hissing i get when using POD Farm? It doesnt really come up in recordings, just in my ears as i play, and its only slight, over high gain amps. At the moment im using skullcandy headphones with a converter.
Thanks all
Also, could you recommend some nice headphones, on the cheaper side of things in the UK

I dont think new headphones will reduce noise coming through the drivers in the headphones themselves.
I'm not sure of UK prices, but Sennheiser HD280 Pro's are pretty affordable, and they're great headphones.

Better headphones would just reproduce the hiss more accurately. I deliberately play my guitar through an old set of $20 Sony headphones with no top end to cut out hiss entirely.
