I'm more of a Metal guitarist. However the the only chords I'm really good with are A, C, D, E, and some variations.

listen to some city and color or the eagles.
both have great open chords.
you just have to be open to music, not just stick to only learning one type of music.
good luck

Thanks. I listen to many many many types of music. But because Metal is my favorite I kinda stick with it. But the point of this thread is to open myself up to some different stuff.

Thanks.

Bob Dylan.
Marshall amplifiers are the truest purveyors of rock and roll known to man.

"And give a man an amplifier and a synthesizer, and he doesn't become whoever, you know. He doesn't become us."

AC/DC uses open chords quite a bit, actually.

Yup. 200 songs all written with A,D and G. Quite remarkable actually.

Everything I listen to uses full chords, quit listening to metal it sucks.

Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Genesis, Rush, Yes. Among my favourite classic/prog rock bands. Zeppelin/the Who are probably my two favourite pure classic rock bands.

I'm sorry, but I just can't keep this open. It's almost like asking what Classic Rock songs feature guitars.

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
