im trying to get these pictures up but its not happening right now so ill try and explain....

i bought the les paul junior wrap around bridge from stewmac
http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Electric_guitar,_non-trem_bridges/Adjustable_Wraparound_Bridge.html

and i want to mount it on my home made guitar, now the action is the issue.
-the height between the guitar body and the saddles on the bridge is about 1.4 cm. (the total height of the bridge)
-the height from the fretboard to my preferred action is about 0.6 - 0.7 cm.

so right now if i were to put on that bridge and string 'er up, my strings would be sitting like 1 cm above the fingerboard, i dont know about you but thats not cutting it for me.

HOW THE HELL DO I FIX THIS?!?!?!

file down the saddles? raise the neck with a spacer in the neck pocket? help me?
i am still working on pictures, oh and i need this done by monday.

anything unclear?

Did you recess the studs or angle the neck?

well you see i havent actually mounted it yet, because of this problem.
through tests i found how high the action would be.

would recessing the studs help? and that would be one mean angle

Well, it depends. Did you angle the neck or not?
