Hi, I bought a Vintage SG last friday, it plays quite well everythings okay but one thing. When I pick the high E string on the 14th fret, it hardly makes a sound, its just like I'm pinching the string when im properly picking it, this doesn't happen on any other fret on the board, not even the frets at either side. Can someone help me please, I really like this guitar and I don't want to take it back

Sounds like a bad fret. Did you buy it from a store? If so, get them to fix it for you.

Maybe a truss rod adjustment.

Maybe a dead fret? Try setting it up though.
