So...im not sure or not though. I noticed last week my tone was a little weaker. But i didnt really care, i haven't played for 2 days and played not too long ago.

My amp seems to have a hard time sounding Distorted, and its like somebody turned the tone knob on my guitar down or something.

Im no expert on these things so do they need changing? I bought the amp late october, they said eventually it'll need new tubes. I play like 2 hours on the amp a day if it helps.

I have a couple of problems:
1. I dont know what types of tubes
2. i dont know how much they'll cost
3. can i install them myself?
4. which tubes do i change?

If it helps, it says "15 watt tube power amp with two 6V6 tubes"
Also, "12AX7 preamp tube"

The two power tubes need to be change, the 12AX7 is less important, but it's still a good idea to change it with the power tubes.

May not be your tubes. How does the clean channel sound? If it sounds good then your tubes are fine. Distortion is not produced by the tubes unless you are cranking the power amp.

The amp has 16 voiced channels. Make sure you are using the same channel when comparing now and then.

I just use a bright clean channel. Then i use the pedal to put on distortion.

my pedal has a plug outlet too. so its not the battery dying.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

It may be your tubes but it also could be your guitar. Do you have active pickups?
