Hey guys,

Been playing bass in a three piece band for about a month now, just putting finishing touches together for a live set. The music is kind of upbeat rock, but there are some parts where it's quite instrumental, sometimes with a guitar solo. So I'm looking for a pedal to drive the bass to help fill out these louder parts, maybe give it a brighter tone. As I haven't been playing bass very long (moved from guitar) I'm not really sure what to look for in a bass pedal, so any recommendations?

I'll try find a reference to a sound I'm looking for if needed

cheers

The EHX Bass Big Muff is the tried-and-true bass fuzz. Take a look at one frist. If you don't like it for whatever reason, check out a BOSS ODB-3.

Different tones for different things. At least take a look at both of them.

The resonant frequency of the clitoris is too low for the guitar players to take care of.
