Alright, so here's the situation
I'm restringing my LTD MH-100 QM. The first string I swap out is the A string. As I'm tuning up the new string, I'm getting this HORRENDOUS amount of buzz. You can barely even hear the string. It's just straight BBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. My guitar may as well be a South African soccer stadium. However, when I plucked the rest of the strings, they were all perfectly fine. The only string that's making this buzz is the A string. I completely loosened it, and retuned it back up, the buzz was still there. Does anyone know what the hell is going wrong??? FYI there's an LFR on the guitar.
Thanks for the help!

I don't think that's it...... And this buzz is happening whether I have the locking part of the locking nut on or off

is the excess string (you know what i mean right?) looping a round and touching the same string between the nut and tuning pegs? because i had this same problem with the d string and that is what the problem was
