I am looking for a really loud amp that can easily bypass the volume of a drum set, but still maintain a cheap price. I am NOT really looking for an amp tonewise, since I already am getting a Vox Multi-Effects Pedal, but if there IS a loud and good tone amp, then that would also be acceptable.

Genres I play include Metal, alternative, jazz, blues, and punk.

Wow. Yeah, a PA and mic will do the trick, unless you dont have an amp already?

Nope, no mic... just instrument level or line level right into it from the multifx.
This thing is pretty good imo. It has a 4 channel mixer, build in EQ and effects.
I actually own one and use it for my sequencer output and pc based drums.
