Trainspotting, Romeo + Juliet, the score to 'Brick', Requiem for a Dream, Vanilla Sky, Wristcutters and any Tarantino film.

EDIT: And how could I forget 'Garden State'?
Without a doubt, my favourite soundtrack ever,
Totally changed my view on indie music forever.

^Trainspotting and Lock Stock... also Pulp Fiction is pretty awesome

one of the most annoying is Godfather, jeeze we get it, they're Italians, you don't need to play the music for the whole film!
"You're a twat!"- That dude in morrisons

"You Ugly git!" - That girl in the restaurant

"You Were a Mistake!" - Mum

just a few of my fans..

Black Hawk Down is the first one to come to mind, I could probably think of better if i put a bit of effort into it though.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The tapping solo at the beginning of the theme song is epic. I bet Dragonforce wrote it.

Toy Story 3 had some great scoring that really worked in sync with the movie. American Psycho also had an interesting and more daring scoring with the string quartet.

Worst scoring goes to Shutter Island.

...modes and scales are still useless.

Garden State
Office Space

I'm waiting for a movie with a dubstep soundtrack. Let me know when that happens.

The only advantage of home-schooling is that it gives you good reason to commit suicide.

Hit this once or twice, and you'll be twice as nice.

I TOTALLY overlooked Garden State as well. That score is just made to be. I bet The Shins think so too!

Seeing as Trent Reznor is doing a film soundtrack, I wondered what everyone's favourite was?

Personally I'm pretty much sold on the Lock Stock score - it's seamless.

I am SO looking forward to TR's soundtrack for that film. Film looks pretty good too.

My favorite soundtrack is Christmas on Mars, which is the soundtrack to the movie of the same name, which was created by The Flaming Lips.

If you mean original scores, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars and Avatar all had great ones of those.

In terms of soundtracks consisting of existing songs, School of Rock had a great soundtrack.
