Guitars are generally stronger than you think.

Guitars generally dont 'splinter' or anything, if they break it breaks in a major way, you'd know if something was wrong

Possibly, but most skateboards are fairly sturdy. If the skateboard seems to be working okay, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
