They made combos of the 800, also do note that the Studio 15 is said to sound something like an 800, it's a 1x12 15W combo

Yea, they made a bunch on the 80s. They're fairly common, pretty much every local store here has 2 or 3 of them. IMO they don't sound all that great, particularly the ones based off of the 2205.

4010 (50 watts, 1x12, combo version of 2204 head)

Yes they have, but you really can't find one new anymore. A used one goes for around $600-700, and it's a very nice amp, but I would rather have the head version.

but as a combo , then i probably have to check them out some time ..

I just saw a combo 2204 they other day. 212 with original rola 65s. Great price too. I might buy it.

$800 is too high IMO. The only thing that might warrant the price is the 65s but the Scumbacks sound better IMO.

really? 800s go for 1000 regularly. the heads a little bit more desirable but I'd think an 800 combo could fetch a grand easily. no?

Nah, every one I've seen has been around $650-$700. They're not all that desirable. Every one wants a half stack.
