Hello dear friends,

I searched the forums but did not find exactly what I was looking for.

I'm heavily into Bruce Springsteen at this moment, especially his Devils and Dust album. It's absolutely great and i'd like to purchase a few Hohner harmonicas to be able to perform similarly to Bruce with acoustic guitar, harmonica + holder.

I understand that I might need a few harmonicas for different songs, so if we start off with Devils and Dust... which key harmonica would it require? I think this song is in E but it can obviously be transposed in several other keys to accomodate a live performance using a capo.

I'm ready to pull the trigger on some Hohner Marine Band harmonicas, I just need some help figuring out which keys... Thanks for reading and have a great day!

I hope it isn't too late but he uses a harp in the key of D and his guitar is drop d
It's not my imagination, I've got a gun on my back!

Hello danecook78,

Since then, I bought 3 harps, two Marine Band Hohners (keys of D and G) and a Blues Harp in the key of A... So I guess i'm all set!

Thanks for taking the time.
