So I have a Dunlop Crybaby Wah. I have previously installed a true bypass switch in it, and modified a couple resistors for a more vocal wah effect, with higher output. Only problem was that when I truned it on, there would be a large click and about 1 second of silence before the signal came back in. Didn't happen when turning the pedal off, though. I left it alone for a while, and now just plugged the pedal into my amp for the first time in about a month, and now the only time I get any signal is when the pedal is on, and the wah effect works. When I turn the wah off, there is no sound whatsoever. Any ideas why?

Check for cold solder joints/solder bridges.

Especially on the switch.
