So, I'm new to the world of recording, or at least trying to get "serious" about recording.

I have a POD X3 Live and a Digitech RP1000 that I'll be using. I'm currently using Adobe Audition and have recorded a few guitar licks here and there with it. Nothing serious however. What is everyone's view of this software? Good? Bad?

My biggest concern are drum loops. I'm completely ignorant to what is out there and what I should be using.

Where should I get them? How do I use them? How can I adjust the tempo/speed?

Any tips and/or other advice?

Any help you guys can give would be great. Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience yet to know what questions I should be asking. Hopefully, with your advice, I can avoid some common pitfalls that I am unaware of.
