Alright so i went to Guitar center to look at a few different guitars cause im in the market for a new one
so i figured ''why not buy some new picks to try out?'' i bought dunlop extra heavy jell picks (the yellow ones) because i have heard that they are better for grip. ive found this very true

i have one question!

they are made of jell so would they be less hard on my strings (Ernie Ball coated super slinkys) than my usual picks have been (Jim Dunlop tortex 1.14 purple ones)?

or do they wear the strings just as fast

btw i am set on what guitar i want

I'm not sure i've never heard of the jell ones... If they were made of jelly they obviously wouldnt stay in your hand.
I imagine they'll wear strings at the same rate... just use whatever pick you like... Strings arent too expensive so go crazy

I always stick with tortex 0.88 (green ones)
I've never tried the jell ones. hows does it feel when you're picking?
I agree strings aren't expensive at all
