I keep having the same situation where I have no money and need to make things. E.g. I had to make cufflinks the other day.

Also, i'm trying to work out how to make a hipflask without any money. HELP NEEDED WITH THIS.

You have enough money to be in a situation where cufflinks are required.

Anyway, you might find this site useful

Last night with the help of bobby pins, a 2 gallon pitcher of water, masking tape, a popsicle stick, pencil and a plastic cup I made a fully functional water well.

I made a radio once. Didn't work very well though.

I threw together a makeshift telly aerial out of wire coat hangers and a few bits and pieces as well. That one did work.

Your last job only paid you $7.00 AUD an hour? That's like $6.05 in the US. What the hell is the minimum wage over there?

I once stuck around for almost an entire night to comfort a friend.

Easily one of the best things I ever did.
HAHA, no seriously. What DO you use a signature for?

My dog was bored with all of her toys and I didn't want to go buy I new one so I just gave her a plastic cup to play with.

I was gonna scold you for being so careless, but then I remembered cups aren't bags.

On topic, I made my dining room into a safe exploring area for my pet turtle. I accomplished this feat by closing one door and moving a guitar case in front of the other doorway, so he couldn't possibly escape and find some way to leave the house, fall down a staircase, or otherwise **** himself over.

I might have one of the better things in the thread. >.>

Yes. That's right. I made my own amp in a shoebox. And it actually doesn't sound half bad.

Showoff...

Holy crap that amp in a shoebox is cool. But that reminds me, my friends build computers all the time, since it's waaaay cheaper that way.

I made bacon steaks tonight if that counts. They were awesome.

And I've made my pedalboard. But it is amazingly crap you wouldn't believe it. It's just a plank of wood with pedals attacked by velcro. But at least it keeps the pedals in place.

Everything's cheaper when you make it yourself. Well, almost everything.

The amp cost like 13 bucks to make. minus shipping and handling for the parts, tax, and the second of every part I ordered, just in case.

let's hope MacGuyver never finds this thread, or we'll never hear the end of it.

On topic, I made a ukelele out of a shoebox, a cardboard tube, and rubber bands. I used thumbtacks to hold the "strings". One of my proudest moments.
