That's right, it's a New Baby Day!

Alright, well, technically it wasn't today. This is Nicolas. He was born on June 26 at 11:11 AM.

He's made in the USA. A compact 21.5" but nicely weighted 8 lbs. 4 oz., he's rated at 1 baby power, which is the equivalent volume-wise to about 20 watts tube. And not some mamby pamby EL84s. He's 20 watts of pure 6L6. This kid really wails

But he's really fun to use backed off, too.

I was really apprehensive about becoming a father, but I can't begin to express the joy and amazement he's brought into my life since I first heard his piercing cry and the nurse first handed him to me and I wept...well...like a baby.

This was taken about 15 minutes after he was born:

I just felt the need to share this with you all because I'm an obnoxious first-time parent. Here's another gratuitous shot:

Hi, I'm Peter

Well, technically it could be done, but only in the same way that you could change a cat into a hamburger. It's an unpleasant process, and nobody is happy with the result.

I love me some 6L6's with 13ABY's. In that compact of a combo though, I think I'd prefer EL34, a little more throaty, but not nearly as harsh and shrill.
Congrats dude
he has got a ton of hair

Ya, I hear those EL34s have smoother break up too.

I've heard some bad reviews about those, people say you gotta shake when they don't work.

Mail it in to Fargen and they'll upgrade the output transformer and install a PPIMV.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I'm sure you could just crack off the faceplate and solder in a few volume pots.
