Hello!

As title says, I'm lookin for an affordable strat.

I want something with a strat feeling(as in playing and sound) and S-S-S.

Is it just impossible to find a strat in this price that is not a beginners guitar?

I'm planning on using it as a backup. From what i hear, squier's are not good, but as a backup, I dont need that great great quality from a 1000$ fender (or other similar).

Recommendations for brands are very appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Look preowned guitars, you can probably find a really good guitar for a very good price.

If you really want a new guitar then look into squier classic vibe series

Used MIM Fender Strats generally fall in your range, depending on condition. And the CV series is $350, if I recall correctly.

I got a used 04 Fender Strat MIM in mint condition for $300

Browse craigslist for a week and you'll find something decent for your price range. Im pretty good at making deals on there. The key is to accept alot of no's before you get those yes's. My LP, Strat, and Deville came from craigslist.
I traded a guy a pistol I paid $280 for, for my Deville 2x12, you cant beat that kind of deal.
Gibson Les Paul Traditional - 11
Fender Stratocaster MIM - 04
Fender Mustang - 04
Taylor 214ce - 10
