Anyone know of some solos that sound similar to Threat Signals "Counterbalance" and "Inane" solos? I really love the solos in those two songs, but they are too difficult for me at this point. But are there any solos you know of that are melodic like these ones, yet not as difficult?
Set-Up:
- Ibanez RGA42FM
- Epiphone Les Paul Special II
- Crate 15W Amp
- Boss MT-2 Metal Zone Pedal
- Line 6 Pocket Pod

- Peavey International II Drum Set (Cherry Red)
- Zildjian Cymbals
- Evans Heads with Remo E-Rings

I don't know what those solos sound like, but these are my favourite solos:
Necrophagist - Fermented Offal Discharge, Advanced Corpse Tumor, Culinary Hyperversity or Epitaph
Death - Trapped In A Corner or Jealousy

Yea, Sylosis is sick, but again, too difficult lol.
I guess they will be difficult, since I'm looking for solos in the metal genre.

why oh why this thread again
Cette nuit j'ai rêvé que je mâchais ses yeux
Après avoir crevé par accès de furie
Ta replète panse d'helminthes blancs nourrie,
Trop prompte à déféquer le fruit d'un vit sanieux.

Ignore everything, listen to the first five King Diamond albums.

Every solo - bliss.

Levasseur.

Change that to Abigail and The Eye

And add my Necrophagist suggestions

However, I don't think there are very many easy solos in metal at all. Try some metallica solos and work your way up or something? Or you could just practise scales and arpeggios until you can play the aforementioned solos

Depends. Most Iron Maiden and Metallica is fairly easy for anyone who has some idea as to what they're doing solo-wise, in fact I imagine most people who post solo covers of those bands on Youtube would explode at the prospect of "advanced" solo playing such as Blotted Science, Symphony X, Dream Theater, Nevermore and Yngwie Malmsteen.

Add Levasseur and Lemay in there and we're good to go, Webb.
