Make it big as in be played on my city's top 40 station? A couple of people at the most (although I doubt any). Now, do I think that some people might eventually have a very good, moderately successful Indie album? Sure.

Music isn't the Olympics. It's not about showing other people what you can do with a piece of wood in your hands that has strings on, it's about making sounds that are good.

There's actually quite a few talented people that hang out here.
I think quite a few of us will do well in the industry.

I put a ton of my capital into SW Airlines... The next day, THE NEXT DAY these nutters fly into the WTC. What the hell? Apparently no one wanted to fly anymore, and I was like "What gives? God damnit Osama, let me win a fuggin' game!"

i think several of us have the potential to make it big. but with the people in the industry worrying about lil wayne or the jonas bothers, we wont be given the chance to make it big.

if this is about making top 40 sh!t nobody on this website would want to

I don't think anyone on this website wants to be put in the same league as a boy band.

I'd want to. In this economy, a platinum album or two is not something that should be turned down.

on another thought i think the way of the boy bands and pop is about on its way out. it will always be here as it always was, but i think that more bands and artist and songwriters of the 60's/70's rock band style will come again. i dont mean the style, just the fact of there being a bunch of huge bands that alot of people know and love

I do, but I think the appeal of being rich is stronger than you think, and I will openly admit that I'd sacrifice artistic integrity for that much money. I'd PREFER to make the music I want to in order to make the same money, but we all know it doesn't work like that.

Pfft, he joined a week or two ago exactly a month ago, not yesterday.

And fine, approximately TWO.

Sure, you can't deny that.
But whether they'll take that step out of the Pit and into the real world is the question.
