I play rock, metal, punk rock, grunge and i'm looking for a good guitar that will suit all of these genres, and which I won't feel like I will want to replace after a few months. My price limit is 1000 euro. When I say that i want a guitar that i wont feel like replacig, i basically mean that i want the best possible guitar for me.
Here are the few ideas that I have...I like some more than others lol

at the moment out of all of these guitars the one that im leaning towards is the SG. I've only been playing 3 years and this will be my second guitar( an upgrade from a fender showmaster... which apparently isnt built to play metal, but to tell you the truth i probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference anyway lol). The main reason why im looking at the SG is because of the sound demo they give on the site. Under "metal" it sounds twice as good as all the others, and to be honest all of the others sound pretty mush the same, which i know is not a good thing!!

Please help me out!! Which guitar should I get???

the Jackson DK2S seems like it would be a bit more versatile than the SG. But the SG is nice too. Do you have a place you can try out a lot of different guitars?

Fender Champ 25se (used to power Mesa pre)

Definately check out the ESP LTD EC 1000 series, or even the EC401 guitars are very good too. They have EMGs or Seymour duncan pickups, the SDs would be very good for what youre suggesting.

EDIT: such as this http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/80903

that is the ugliest guitar i have ever seen, i would't even care how much it costed or how well it played/sounded... it's just too ugly.

Agreed

Looks like the took the body of a left handed Iceman clone, and made it into a right handed guitar. Then slaped on an ugly headstock, and weird paintjob.

The Jackson is more versatile than the Gibson? I'm confused... what exactly are the weaknesses of the Gibson SG?

its not so much the weaknesses of the sg that we re talking about, its the fact that the dinky just has more features (i.e HSS config, sustaniac, floyd, ...)

You traded him a sword for the guitar? You do realize that a smart person would just agree to the trade, take the sword, slay you with it, keep all of the loot and call it a day, right?

....What are they teaching you kids in school these days?!

Tip #664 for guitar shopping Ignore the buzz word versatile when seeking opinions about a guitar. Versitility has more to do with the operator and amp then the guitar.
Bhaok

The following statement is true. The proceeding statement is false.

Lol, that's actually pretty reassuring! The only versitility that I need is that it will cover rythms and leads for both rock and metal.... ill never be playing anything else on it anyway... to be honest i was hoping the SG would get moree support- it sounds so good :O

get that instead.

Or from ur choices, get the Jackson DK2 or the Gibson SG. However if u wont use the floyd rose and will change tunings a lot get the Gibson SG or the ESP LTD mh-1000nt.
