I'm currently going to college. I've only taken my math, english, etc. classes and one Intro to Computers class. Basically I don't know a whole lot about computers yet. But I've been hearing that I need as much experience in computers as I can get. How do I get that experience when I don't know a lot? Suggestions?

Learn.

There's plenty of books out there. Look for something in basic computing, and read it. Then try it. Then use it.

Once you've learnt, you can then apply for a part-time job of some sort whilst you're at college.

I doubt you'd get a job now if you have very limited knowledge.

Cisco courses are really helpful, by the way.

XML -- find info on it, screw around with it. In fact, if you ever played the Civilization games, those have several fan sites that have a lot of info on working with XML. XML is prolly the easiest way to program imho.

Definitely look into Cisco stuff then, since... well, guess what the CIS in Cisco stands for. XD.

I have a whole program on my computer I'm gonna read over the summer, since I'm gonna learn it next year. Get a head start. >_>
