Came in from UPS today:

Bought from Musicians Friend. I found no damage during shipping, came with a hardshell case. Sounds great, even through my crappy 20 watt, the active pickups are amazing. It feels just right with my small hands. I'd highly recommend any V enthusiast to purchase one.

My first guitar still has residue from an unfortunate ranch dressing incident

I played this guitar once. It unleashed the ****ing fury and I got kicked out of Guitar Center.

What are you talking about? I don't think you're talking about the same guitar.

HNGD. You gotta let that thing sing through a better amp!

I'm not really a V fan, but that's pretty cool. If it had a symmetrical headstock, I think it'd be even cooler.

Looks familiar.

Mine's one of the first ones, it doesn't have the silhouette on the back... I'm kinda jealous, actually.

It's an amazing guitar though, enjoy it. _b

Would you run down past the fence?

Tell us, is the black box lying?

Would you say that yours is a little on the light side? My VMNTX is heavier than the VMNT and I was wondering if they're supposed to be so lightweight?

Mine's lighter than the VMNTX's I've played in stores. It's going off memory, but I remember each time, I'm a little put off by the weight of the X series.

I really only bought the UA guitar because I thought that maybe in a couple years it will be a collectible due to the graphic. It's decent for the money, but I'm glad I got the VMNT as a late graduation present from my mom.

Pretty cool. I'm not a fan of Deans at all, but I guess that's mostly due to their appalling headstocks; This is pretty cool! Best save up for a decent amp, now.

Oh, and...

Just played it through my uncle's JVM, yep, this'll be a guitar I keep for the rest of my life.

Yeah, you might keep it, but the GAS's going to get you sooner or later...

I'll work on that now, but it'll probably be a cell phone pic due to my camera being borrowed today.

I finally made a small video review as per King of King V's request, not the best quality, but once I get a better camera, I'll do a sound test comparison between the VMNTX and the VMNT.
