Aside from the fact that his tele is made of mahogany and uses EMG's, its not hard to make a guitar sound like mud.

I'm shooting for a Tele with the twangy tone in Split-Coil, and a heavy as **** tone in Humbucker position. Woohoo for Tele's, and woohoo for custom Teles!
