OT: Its an alright name for a girl. I wouldn't name a boy that though.

Its more of a girls' name, methinks. But there are dudes named Sydney, and some of them are even socially well-adjusted, so I think its a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

I've never heard it used as a girl's name before, in the UK it's normally for guys.

I know a girl with that name. She's sorta hot but totally ditzy.

On topic, seems like a fine name for a girl. I think names like Claire and Jessica are hotter though.

I have no idea why it would seem feminine like most people assume
